Usually when we go out of town we sleep over night but in our recent trip it didn't happen. I arrived at Victory Liner bus station nearly 12 midnight for a 1am trip as I was informed that there's a trip leaving everyhour. Well we've been waiting for Cam, Chester and Aimee then we checked that the next trip going to Baguio was 4am! What are we going to do in the next 4 hours? Were 10 by the way - Cam, Yhang Liw, Ryan, Huber, Louie, Bien, Chester, Aimee and of course me. Since we don't want to waste time, we checked in Dagupan Bus and on a nearby bus terminal which I forgot the name - no trip leaving for Baguio in the next two hours. To avoid wasting our precious time, we agreed that we'll be looking for a van, after several minutes we had a final deal with Manong Joel that the trip would cost 1200php each back and forth(manila-baguio-manila), tour and gas. I personally don't know if that is expensive but I agreed. We were moving going north past 1am of Friday via SCTEX. Cam and I watched a movie while others are asleep. We arrived at the Lion's Head before 6am. Here's our itenirary:
- First stop at Lion's Head
- then breakfast sa Sab-atan
- next stop was in Lourdes Groto - we stop from time to time while going to the top, take some pictures
- then Botanical Garden - where flowers are in bloom.
- next in The Mansion - civilians are only allowed to take pictures near the gate. Atleast we managed to get in and took a good view of the Mansion.
- at Mines View - where the view is really bad, all you can find are rooftops, pine trees are too old only few of them standing. However the good attraction in th entrance is DJ the St. Bernard dog which is sooo adorable, we had our group picture taken with him, he professionaly obliged in the command of his handler. We had our lunch in a "turo-turo" nearby and we went to Ibay's silver shop.
- after lunch we went to Camp John Hay - where you can find the Cemetery of Negativism. We took some rest in a gazebo near the ampitheater, chit chat then stroll.
- then we went to PMA - I love it there! The only place in Baguio where I can say it is highly maintained, still the same as I can recall.
- oh the Burnham Park - we did not go boating instead our van parked there then we went to the market
- dinner at SM Baguio Point and Grill
- after dinner we drove to Nevada Square in the bar called Brew Yard - the place is cozy, we're the first customer that night of Brew Yard. Took sips of margarita while the boys had beer, vodka and bj! We stayed there until 1.
- Last stop. BGH - Baguio General Hospital - nevermind, I don't want to tell more.
We left Baguio at past 5am of Saturday and we arrived here in Manila almost 12noon because of the traffic.
Thank you friends. I had a great time! 'Till next time. Cheers!
