I've read just now the recent issue of Reader's Digest. It's really an interesting issue. I saved the best for last which is Cheap Trips, I'm gonna read it later today. I skimmed through the pages and I read the last part in RD living. The article's title is my blog's entry today - How often do you pray? This poll was conducted in rdasia.com participated by people all over the world. I don't know how many participated in this poll but I got interested with the results.
Results say that the country with the highest percentage that they say they do pray everyday are from Malaysia followed by Philippines, India and Turkey. It's opposite or people say they don't pray often or everyday are from Chzech Republic followed by Russia and Netherlands tied on the 2nd spot next are Spain and Australia. USA and UK are somewhere in the middle. In my opinion the statistics shows how religious people are, at some point they do pray because they have to much to ask or they pray less because they have what they need? How often do we really need to pray? Does it matter how often we pray to get what we pray or wish or hoping for?
True we filipinos are religious, at least I want to believe that. There is a diferrence being religious and being faithful so do praying and lip service. We ranked 2nd meaning we are prayerfull but for me we should not just pray but we should put things into action so that we can get what we prayed for. What we pray will not just land in our lap or expect miracle to happen in a snap. Ika nga ni Ate Guy - Walang Himala! If we are prayerfull then we should also be Godfearing people but it's just sad what we hear in the news - corruption, felony, plunder and many more!
Pray for the better days. Help yourself and God will help you.

Well, for one, I am not sure if God himself would have approved of my prayers since deep down in me I know it was a lie. And He knows it. When you prayed, you feel some guilt for lying to Him, and when you forget to say your prayers, you can’t escape the guilt either. It’s catch-22. It’s weird. Why was prayer honored by the religious group in the first place? There must be an alternative.
Second, how one could switch to a new template that is quite familiar then suddenly shift back to the old one and deleted a post before one thoroughly understand what it meant?
Thirdly, I do not live in Tanay, Rizal.

Hi Emilie
Well I don't think that the frequency of prayers are depended on our wishes or hopes.. Because I can pray just to say thanx to what I have, that I'm healthy and etc. It is better to pray when u don't have particular wishes, or when u don't have any troubles. When u pray for God when there is no so necessity, God will remember u when u have real trouble. I belive so:)
